I have been to Spain several times, absolutely loved it! My mother is Spanish, and I have learned the language(sorta kinda). Absolutely love the food. Tosta de tomate, paella, langostinos, Vino tinto and any wine from Ribera del Duero DO. I could go on!
Spain is a beautiful country any time of the year. Anyone who wins this trip will definitely in awe of the scenery as well as the history of the land. The food is especially something to brag about!
Spain has friendly, helpful people. Wonderful ancient ruins, great medieval and hill towns, extraordinary and beautiful Moorish history. Delicious variety of foods, especially seafood and their wines are very palatable. Not to leave out lots of sunshine, and to be able to relax around the coastline of beaches.

I have three sons who are professional chefs. I would love to send them on this trip. They would learn a lot. They might even try to work in a kitchen or two.
As a veterinarian, I always travel with flea and tick preventative to help local animals. Before the trip I reach out to see if there is any place that would like some volunteer work to help local people and their pets. I have also done quite a lot with native wildlife. I would love to experience this trip.
How wonderful a trip to Spain would be at a very difficult time in my and my husband’s lives. It would be so therapeutic to enjoy the incredible views the country offers!
